Matt Mitchell and Vicki Sargent are a Kent based writing partnership. They are currently head writing on a 6 part TV thriller co-created with Blackbox Multimedia which is set for a summer 2026 shoot, and are working on an action feature film script commission for Riverstone Pictures.
Their survival thriller ABOVE THE BELOW is currently in post production, starring and co-directed by Idris Elba, and set to be released by Lionsgate in 2026. Their second feature film, WHITE MARS, a scifi horror, starring Lucy Hale and Luke Newton, completed shooting last year, was co-financed by XYZ Films and is currently in post-production.
They have had a number of feature scripts commissioned by Future Artists Entertainment including horror, action and sci-fi. They also have a drama series in development with Clapperboard Studios and two of their sitcom pilots LEXI and FAMILY HOLIDAY were picked up for development by UKTV.
Vicki and Matt have also written a number of shorts in which Vicki stars and Matt directs. These include A FUNNY WAY TO DIE (Sitges Film Festival – Official Selection), FASHIONABLY LATE (Cannes Shorts – Nominee – Best Comedy) and EVENFALL ONE, shot at Garden Studios and due for an international festival run later this year. Vicki is a member of BAFTA Connect and Matt has written and directed several indie features available to watch on Amazon Prime and Apple TV.
