Marcus wrote the eight part gold rush serial Dominion Creek / An Klondike for TG4 & Netflix UK. The series won many awards, including IFTA and ZEBBIE for Best Drama Writer for Marcus.
His first IFTA nomination was for writing political drama, The Running Mate. Further TV drama credits include Smother, Blackshore, Jack Taylor and Red Rock.
Marcus’ background as an animation artist led him to script and develop animated series and features for a global array of producers.
As a Developer, Marcus assembles pitch decks and series bibles. He is also a very effective Script Doctor. Successful projects include the award winning feature, The Drummer & the Keeper.
Marcus’ originals include The Littlejohn Affair, a true story of bank robber brothers who infiltrated the IRA for MI6. The Encounter is an Epic Period Drama Series about the impact of Europeans’ first arrival in the Americas. Soul Trader is a supernatural Thriller Series about a homicide detective and her Faustian deal with a useful demon.
Marcus is based in Dublin, Ireland.
