Writer
Jody is an award-winning neurodivergent writer and performer for screen and theatre. She has co-written and developed original work, funded by Screen Ireland.
She was the recipient of two WGI Zebbie Awards – Best Animation Script 2023 and Best Theatre Script 2021. She was a finalist for the 2022 Virgin Media Discovers award. Jody was UCC and Cork Opera House Theatre Artist-in-Residence 2022-2024. Recent Arts Council Awards include 2024 Bursary Award (Theatre), 2024 Theatre Project Award, 2023 Agility Award (Literature).
A key focus of her work in recent years is consulting on and creating greater access to the arts for neurodivergent and disabled people through creatively embedding access across all areas of creation and production processes.
