Nicola Executive Produced and co-created the Emmy Award-winning Netflix drama ‘Marcella‘ which ran for three series. She also originated the concept for ‘Cobra‘, a 6-part political thriller which is currently in its second series for Sky 1 and New Pictures. She worked on a first look deal sourcing and creating content for ABC Studios International and was previously an Executive Producer at Leopardrama. . She is an Executive Producer at Pulse Films working across a slate of high-end drama. Nicola has also worked at Sky Drama Commissioning as a Drama Development Executive and has produced on the BBC Drama series ‘Casualty‘ and ‘Waterloo Road‘.

ABC Studios International (2019)
Executive Producer - First Look Deal

Nicola worked with ABC Studios International to develop, source and create original series as part of its expansion into European content. She created a slate of high-end drama projects with both UK and international talent attached. ABC Studios International is a Disney company that owns the ABC Network, The Fox Group and Hulu.

Cobra (2019-2021)
New Pictures

A 6-part political thriller for Sky 1 and New Pictures. Nicola originated and developed the concept for the show and attached writer Ben Richards. Season 2 aired in 2021.

Buccaneer Media (2015-2019)
Executive Producer

Co-Creator and Executive Producer on Marcella, an 8-part series for Netflix/ITV. Written by Hans Rosenfeldt. The show has run for 3 series and has been shown in over 200 territories globally on Netflix and stars Anna Friel. Production Company Elephant recently developed and produced a version for the French market which was aired in 2021. Along with her work on Marcella Nicola also maintained a bespoke slate of High-end drama projects, both Pan-European and Transatlantic.

Worked across a slate of development projects, including a 90 minute single film about athlete Mo Farrah, developed with Polly Hill for BBC2 and ‘Murderers Next Door’, a fact-based drama written by Stephen Merchant and Vicky Jones.

Worked on a number of projects as a development producer with MD Ben Grass, including : ‘Corbally’, a period Horror Series and ‘The Grid’, a series set in the world of Formula One racing.
