Charlie has 6 years’ experience in the animation industry where he has successfully directed, storyboarded, written and helped develop a number of shows and projects. He has been praised for his adaptable and unique humour, keen storytelling skill and amiability. Charlie has joined KPA to write on across commissioned animated series, both in kids and adult animation.
Writing 1 x 11′ episode for brand new vehicle based pre-school animated series.
Writing 1 x 5′ episode for Lego City YouTube short.
Oversees development of a number of Blue-Zoo Productions new IPs. Currently managing the development of two adult animated shows and one family feature as well as assisting the development of the studios’ wider roster.
Wrote 2 x 11′ episodes for second series:
– ‘Flight of the Chickens’
– ‘Street Smart’
Staff Writer, working with the head writer and show creator to develop all 86 x 11′ episodes. Involved with the scripts from springboard to storyboard, adding additional material.
Also wrote ‘Inside Pony’, a 5′ short which aired on YouTube and Nickelodeon to bridge the gap between S1 and 2 of the series.
Director. Oversaw production of animatic for 6-12 2D series, working closely with Nickelodeon and the show creator.
