Richie Conroy is a comedy and drama writer from Kildare, Ireland. He has worked as a freelance writer for over 15 years on award-winning television series and feature films. Some of Richie’s recent credits include ‘Two by Two: Overboard‘ which spent three weeks at the top of the UK Box Office, ‘Malory Towers‘, a lavish adaptation of the much-loved Enid Blyton books, ‘Drop Dead Weird‘ (Series 1 & 2), a live-action sitcom starring Pauline McLynn and David Rawle, and ‘Fran: Assistant Manager‘.

Richie is a published author of novels, short stories and picturebooks. He won first prize at the Oireachtas Literary Awards in 2020 and his latest novel was published Summer 2021. Richie is the Writer-in-Residence in Dublin City University.
