Nicola is an Executive Producer working across a range of projects in development and production at Buccaneer Media. She is the Executive Producer and Co-Creator of ‘Marcella’ the 8 x 60 thriller for ITV/Buccaneer written by Hans Rosendfeldt (creator of The Bridge) She was previously an Executive Producer at Leopardrama and has worked at Sky Drama Commissioning as a Drama Development Executive. She has also produced on Casualty and Waterloo Road.

Nicola maintains a bespoke slate of high-end drama projects, both pan-European and Transatlantic, along with her executive producer duties on ‘Marcella’, the 8-part ITV drama that is currently in its second series. She is currently working with; Hans Rosenfeldt, Lars Lundstorm, Irvine Welsh, Stephen Merchant, John Brownlow, Noel Clarke, Baltasar Kormukur, Katie Baxendale and Blake Harrison.

Leopardrama (2015-2016)
Executive Producer

Worked across a slate of development projects, including a 90 minute single film about athlete Mo Farrah, developed with Polly Hill for BBC2 and ‘Murderers Next Door’, a fact-based drama written by Stephen Merchant and Vicky Jones.

New Pictures (2015-2016)

Her thriller project ‘Cobra’, co-created with Jonathan Young is in development at New Pictures with writer Ben Richards attached.

Development Producer on ‘Sibling Rivalry’ a crime series optioned by World. Written by Rachel Flowerday, Exec Jake Lushington.

Pure Grass Films (2015)

Worked on a number of projects as a development producer with MD Ben Grass, including : ‘Corbally’, a period Horror Series and ‘The Grid’, a series set in the world of Formula One racing.

Managed the process of relocating the drama from its original Rochdale base to its new Scotland base in Greenock
