A graduate of the BBC Writers’ Academy, Mark has written drama, children’s television, animation, documentaries and short plays. His television credits include Doctors for BBC1, where he is a core writer, and more than twenty episodes of Eastenders. He has also written for Holby City and ‘Missing’ the BBC1 crime series. His short play ‘Jimmy in Broadmoor’ was performed at Theatre 503 just before the news about Jimmy Savile emerged. Another short play, ‘The List’ was performed at the Camden People’s Theatre in 2012. Mark also writes comedy with his writing partner Stephen Keyworth. Their comedy ‘Specials’ was a finalist in the Bafta/Rocliffe Comedy Forum 2013 and they are currently developing an idea for Radio 4.
