Kate Traill is a graduate of the MA in screenwriting at London College of Communication. Her Young Adult drama series ‘The FinFolk of EynHallow’ is currently in development at Bryncoed Productions. Her original drama series pilot ‘The Reset’ reached the semi-finals of both the Screencraft Pilot Launch Competition and the Finish Line TV Script competition. She has most recently written for series 3 of Sister Boniface Mysteries (BritBox Originals/BBC). Before becoming a screenwriter, Kate spent many years working as a journalist at Haymarket Publishing and The National Magazine Company.

The Dry Down is set in the world of high-end perfumery and focuses on twenty-something Cassie Rock-Rose who is passionate about this niche sector of the beauty industry. It is a witty and insightful look at the dark underside of what appears to be a glamorous, elite profession.
