Emma’s passion for writing children’s television began as a trainee writer for Ragdoll where she quickly became one of the writing team behind the third series of Brum. From then on, she was hooked! She now writes animation and live-action across all platforms for both pre-school and older audiences. Commissions including Cbeebies recent hit Dinopaws (Kindle/CBBC/Cbeebies), Cbeebies/CBBC cross-over live action show Jamillah & Aladdin, Bob the Builder (HiT Entertainment), Rusty The Knight and Coconut the Dragon (Caligari Film & TV) Olive the Ostrich and Alphablocks (Blue Zoo). In 2014, Emma co-created, co-wrote and associate produced the Children’s BAFTA nominated, multi-media teen show Madron, for S4C. Emma is also a teacher and was nominated for an RTS in 2010 for a series she wrote for BBC Learning. Two further animation series were nominated for a Children’s BAFTA for best educational (2009 BBC/ 2010 Ch4). She wrote on all series of Alphablocks which was shortlisted for the Prix de Jeunesse in 2010.
