Ben is a Writer and Actor. His play ‘The Long Road to Mrs MacIntyre’s’ was performed at the Edinburgh Festival in 2015. ‘Criminal Behaviour’, his full length piece, had a run at The White Bear theatre as part of a double bill in May 2015. Ben was selected to take part in 503 Futures, a new writing development scheme, at Theatre 503. His short play ‘Suit and Tie’, was staged at Theatre 503 as part of the ‘Thatcherwrites’ season. It was also performed as part of Little Pieces of Gold showcase at the Park Theatre. He is currently working on an original television series idea.

Rehearsed Reading of this full length comic play, that looks at what happens when God comes down to Manchester to find his new Mary with two angels in tow. A dark comedy posing moral questions.

Suit and Tie (2013)
Theatre 503 & The Park Theatre

A short comedy piece exploring two city boys on a night out and parodying their obsession with money and power. Performed at Theatre 503 as part of Thatcherwrite, a series of plays on the life and death of Margaret Thatcher and also at The Park Theatre in 2013.

Southwark Theatre - Little Pieces of Gold Showcase

Short Play. Two men from extremely different backgrounds find themselves stuck in a lift in an office block. The play explores class attitudes in 2013.

Twelve Miles From Nowhere (2012)

Full Length Play. A collaborative writing piece with Action Transport Theatre, long-listed for best play in 2012 by the Writer’s Guild. It looks at the experience of two teenagers living in rural isolation on a farm in 2013.

A Waiting Room (2012)

Short Monologue. The story of one woman’s jealousy and need for attention that spirals to extremes.
